Antalis Packaging Teams with AirPack Systems to Distribute Inflatable Protective Packaging

7 May 2015

Antalis Packaging has partnered with AirPack Systems to provide customers with bespoke and standard inflatable packaging options, enhancing the speed of the packaging process and reducing damages and returns.

With 100% recyclability and using the highest quality co-extruded plastic, AirPack bags are distributed flat, saving up to 90% on storage space. An air compressor will be required for inflation, also available directly from Antalis Packaging. Packaging operatives will simply be required to insert the item, inflate and then place into secondary/outer packaging.

Applications for the inflatables include wine, beers and spirits packing; smartphones and hard drives; electrical equipment such as cameras, lenses, laptops, tablets and televisions; homeware products such as candles or beauty products; pharmaceuticals and toner cartridges and printing supplies. Alternatively, Antalis can work with your product’s dimensions, weight and specifications to create a bespoke, custom-made range of protective packaging.

Rob Bishop, Managing Director at AirPack Systems comments: “AirPack Systems is delighted to be working with Antalis in the UK. This builds on the successful relationship we have enjoyed with Antalis in Germany over the past few years where we have jointly developed a series of bespoke packaging solutions in a variety of sectors. It’s evident from early discussions that there are a number of exciting prospects which can be developed jointly with Antalis in the UK.”
