Bell's Brewery changing its packaging, logo

30 March 2016

Bell's Brewery is making changes to its packaging and logo.

Bell's officials offered a sneak peek of the changes Tuesday, noting that the new logo and packaging will roll out later this year.

The new packaging will display more prominently fan favorites like the Two Hearted Brook Trout and the Oberon Sun. Meanwhile, the Bell's logo is changing "to better reflect the Bell's name and the branding it is so proud of," Bell's said in a press release. "Certain brands will also change to highlight the flavor and characteristics of the beer inside."

Bell's wanted to pay homage to where its been, and wanted its packaging to reflect the beer inside by highlighting styles and descriptions more clearly, Bell's officials said in a press release.

"The essence will remain the same. That will always be a part of who we are," Larry Bell said in the press release.

Laura Bell and Larry Bell worked with a team at Kaleidoscope over the past year on the changes.

"We wanted to make sure our packaging and logo maintain the heritage and vision of our brands while highlighting the style of each beer, in a way that is consistent with who we are as a brewery," Larry Bell said in the press release.

The new packaging and logo will be introduced over time to cut down on and eliminate waste.

Bell's officials in the press release said its 30th anniversary party and Funvitational were the beginning of another chapter for the family-owned brewery.

"We're proud of where we've been and are just as excited about where we're going, something we are excited to share more about in the months ahead," Laura Bell said in the press release.
