17 July 2015

Specialty chemical manufacturer Chempace has added 15,000ft2 space to its facility in Toledo, Ohio, to foray into contract packaging services.

Aiming to offer end-to-end services, the company's contract manufacturing division plans to be a one-stop destination to manufacturers by offering mixing, bottling, labeling and distribution.

According to Chemspace, its dedicated space for contract packaging will support start-ups and existing companies in preventing delays and cost overruns.

Chempace president Rick Shall said: "Why mix, ship and bottle when Chempace offers an end-to-end solution?

"Chempace is committed to investing in the latest technology to improve the current conditions typically associated with packaging solutions for small to large clients. Today's marketplace is extremely competitive. Our Toledo facility expansion offers a truly cost-effective and professional packaging solution."

The new facility will handle liquid type for packaging and deal with volumes ranging from four ounces to 330 gallon totes and 4,000 gallon tankers.
