Hubergroup unveils new sheet-fed printing ink for food packaging

Germany-based Hubergroup has introduced a new sheet-fed printing ink series, Mga Natura, to meet the growing printing demands of the food packaging industry.

The Mga Natura printing ink, which will ensure safety to the brand owners and printers, has been signed as replacement to the company’s existing Natura Ga series, effective from 1 February 2017.

Designed to provide improved in-press performance, the new ink series is available as process inks and spot inks, which go with both the classic color guides and corporate design colors.

The new ink range will be used for large-format prints, which are produced at high speeds and cheaper substrate grades, and will cater to the fast post-print processing segment.

Manufactured in compliance with good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards, the Mga Natura ink features substances, which do not migrate or offer no harm to the packed food.

Additionally, the series is expected to offer enhanced in-press performance while meeting the demand for special printing-ink systems of the food manufacturers.Hubergroup is also planning to extend the use of the new range to all the ink systems for printing food packaging.
