Packaging firm Orara enters into strategic partnership with AHG Refrigerated Logistics

Orora, a Melbourne packaging firm, has entered into a strategic partnership with Australian stock exchange-listed AHG Refrigerated Logistics, which will see the former adding a logistics aspect to its present corrugated carton offering.

Refrigerated Logistics is the parent firm of Rand, Harris, Scott's Refrigerated Freightways and JAT.

The partnership is aimed specifically at the fruit and produce sector.

Orora supplies cost-effective corrugated cartons to the fruit and produce industry in Australia. With the new partnership, it will be able to offer additional services such as temperature controlled logistics.

Following a several acquisitions made during the last 10 years, AHG has become a leading refrigerated logistics provider in Australian boasting of a wide road and rail transport fleet along with cold stores in several capital cities of the country.

Established in 2013, Orora is the result of the demerger of Amcor.
