Parksons Packaging Begins Construction of Sri City Plant, India

Parksons Packaging, a Mumbai-based manufacturer and exporters of printed and laminated folding cartons, is setting up a manufacturing base at Sri City with an outlay of Rs. 70 crore.

Laying the foundation stone, Ramesh Kejriwal, Chairman of the company said, “We are foraying into Southern region by setting up a unit at Sri City which has been selected because of its strategic location, infrastructure and excellent service to entrepreneurs. Soon we expect to start our journey in South India.”

The plant, to be built on a 10 acre plot with an initial outlay of Rs. 70 crore, will focus on producing and processing folding cartons. The facility is expected to be commissioned by this October. It will provide employment opportunity for about 300 persons.

Backed by over two decades of experience in printing and packaging, Parksons has a rich portfolio of blue-chip clients spanning Fast Moving Consumer Goods, food and beverages, pharmaceutical, electronic, retail, apparel and other white good industries.

Parksons, which manufactures 10 million packs daily, serves customers which include Mondelez, Colgate, HLL, L’Oreal, Godrej, McDonald’s, Wockhardt and Ranbaxy. It has manufacturing units in Daman and Chakan (Pune) and two in Pantnagar (Uttarakhand).
