Every packet, facet and flavor will be explored June 24 to 27 at the five show-in-one FOOD EXPO that offers Taiwan’s most comprehensive expo on food. The endeavor is organized by TAITRA and includes FOOD Taipei (the 25th Taipei Int’l Food Show), FoodTech & PharmaTech Taipei (Taipei Int’l Food Processing & Pharm. Machinery Show), Taipei Pack (Taipei Int’l Packing Industry Show), Taiwan Horeca (Taiwan Int’l Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering Show) and Halal Taiwan (Taiwan Int’l Halal Expo).
Taiwan’s largest international 5-in-1 food expo joins all the strengths of the island when it unfolds at the NANGANG Exhibition Hall and TWTC Exhibition Hall 1. It builds upon last year’s stunning turn out that chalked up more than 65,000 visitors including 7,500 international buyers.
With increasing demand each year, the FOOD EXPO serves as an important global link for Taiwan’s agriculture, seafood, vegetables, frozen goods and processed foods. It’s also the place for international companies to come to test the Taiwan market, scout agents and set up shop.
The show features a food-safety week, titled “Five Stars in quality FOOD,” that includes many special events. Taiwan has excellent agriculture, food processing tech, delectable produce, livestock, as well as great marine products. In brief the health and flavor in Taiwan mirrors the beauty of this island.
This year government has exerted unprecedented stress on food safety. At the show the Office of Food Safety (Executive Yuan) is working with several related departments to set up booths including the Taiwan Pavilion from the Council of Agriculture, the Food Safety Area operated by the Industrial Development Bureau, Ministry of Economic Affairs and the TQF Pavilion (Taiwan Quality Food) by the Taiwan Food Quality Association.
Manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers of food-related machinery companies are also jointly exhibiting at FoodTech & PharmaTech Taipei and Taipei Pack.
With outstanding quality and competitive prices, Taiwan’s products and packaging have earned global renown. In addition, local companies aim to develop energy-saving and highly efficient products in the future to meet special processing demands.
