The "Conscious Consumerism: Inclusive Packaging Designed for Everyone" session delves into the rising trend of inclusive packaging, which goes beyond aesthetics and functionality to embrace social responsibility and represent diverse demographics. Industry experts, including Marc Powell from Unilever, Stefan Casey from Nestlé, Lucy Burgess from design agency Touch, and Katie Roselaar from ThePackHub, will share their insights on Day 2 from 11:30 PM – 12:15 PM, with the discussion moderated by Waqas Qureshi of Packaging News.

Another featured session, "Beyond Conventional: Unlocking Innovation for Beauty and Beverages," will explore strategies for cultivating organisations that excel in market disruption. Attendees will discover the tools, trends, and capabilities needed to drive groundbreaking innovations in packaging. The session, taking place on Day 1 from 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM at the Beauty & Drinks stage, will include insights from William Connolly, Senior Principal Scientist at Diageo, Lena Danielsson, Breakthrough Innovation Director at Pernod Ricard, Lauren McKenzie, Head of New Product Development at SA Designer Parfums, and Tanguy Pellen, Senior Partner at Skarbek.

"We are continually fine-tuning our speaker line-up to ensure that London Packaging Week offers the most relevant and impactful insights for our attendees," said Casey McHugh, Conference & Community Manager at London Packaging Week. The session titled "Connected Packaging: Revolutionizing Consumer Engagement Now" will feature Steve Wardle, Senior Manager of Packaging & Artwork at Kellanova, and Jenny Stanley, Founder and Managing Director at Appetite Creative. They will discuss how connected packaging is transforming consumer engagement and is scheduled for Wednesday, 11 September, from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Food & Consumer Pack stage.

Leading global design platform and community for packaging design, Pentawards, will power some of the conferences, with a particular focus on how design and branding will continue to evolve. Design Bridge and Partners, alongside Diageo, will share their plans to redefine luxury packaging for iconic British brands, demonstrating how they intend to stay relevant in an evolving market.

On Day 2, discussions will focus on the importance of inclusivity in design, with industry leaders outlining strategies to support Black creatives and foster diversity. Additionally, sessions will explore future approaches to packaging for The National Gallery and the revitalisation of PizzaExpress’s chilled pizza brand.
