Coveris is set to invest over eight million euros in the upcoming months to enhance and expand its medical device production lines.
Features:
By autumn 2024, two new pouch lines and one header bag line will be installed, aimed at elevating service levels and meeting increasing market demand. These new lines will feature technology similar to the site's existing equipment, ensuring quick and seamless integration into the current machine park. Concurrently, a new cast extrusion line will be installed at Coveris's sister medical facility in Halle to support the expansion of the company's medical packaging capacity.
In Rohrdorf, all three new lines will be operational by October 1, 2024, while the first commercial production using the new extrusion line in Halle is anticipated to begin at the start of 2025.
