14 February 2019

Anomatic Corporation, a full-service manufacturer of anodized aluminum and metallized packaging solutions, has announced the acquisition of CP Technologies Company, an injection molding firm located in Columbus, Ohio.

Anomatic, a supplier to some of the world's largest beauty, personal care, and spirits brands in the world, expects the acquisition to further bolster their ability to provide full-package solutions to customers in key markets.

CP Technologies, a family-owned and operated company since its founding in 1992 by Dr. Charles D. Amata Sr., is a supplier of high-performance molded plastic components and assemblies to a variety of industries worldwide.

CP Technologies features a 31,000 square foot manufacturing facility located less than five miles from Columbus' John Glen International Airport and Anomatic's headquarters in New Albany, Ohio.  The technologically advanced facility houses 22 modern molding presses (ranging from 55 to 500 tons), robotics, support equipment, and software.

CP Technologies core competencies have included design support, production tooling, production molding, decorating, and other secondary operations.  Among their extensive injection molding capabilities are structural foam molding, over molding, and insert molding.

Anomatic President and CEO Scott Rusch said the strategic acquisition is an ideal fit that will further the company's position as a worldwide leader in beauty and personal care packaging.

"CP Technologies shares our passion for producing high-quality products with great technical expertise.  They offer extensive knowledge of the injection molding process and their experience, location, and employees will be a great fit for Anomatic. We're very excited about this opportunity to combine our capabilities and resources to continue to exceed expectations as a one-stop shop for our customers."
