Comexi to unveil new F1 flexographic press

Comexi is set to unveil its new F1 flexographic press and the new offset CI8 press at the Drupa fair in Düsseldorf, Germany, which will be held from 31 May to 10 June.

The new machine, which has been designed for the large format market, broadband and long runs, is a development of the firm's previous best-selling large format printing press FI.

It can directly handle all the steps involved in the printing process, as well as helps to optimize production with switching gears and improved working conditions.

Comexi marketing director David Centelles said: "with this new printer they offer a premium solution to their customers, focusing on a high-performance technology and becoming a reference in the flexible packaging printing industry."

The offset CI8 is a new automation system that enables flexible packaging printing sector to reduce environmental impact and increase energy efficiency.

According to the company, it will also provide high print quality and production flexibility to the time to market.

The R2, which is a body printer for rotogravure printing presses, features leading edge technology and in direct driving systems to increase efficiency.

It also features Siemens' Simotion that increases energy savings regarding machine consumption.

The company will also showcase new Comexi Cloud tool for the factories, which will help to understand their data and process the consistent data to facilitate optimal decision-making.
