Edale Installs FL3 in Slovakia

19 February 2016

European Label Printers MiF s.r.o, have recently installed an Edale FL3-430 at their factory in Slovakia.

Market leading printers MiF, established in 1996, specialise in the production of a variety of self-adhesive labels and are based in Dubnica nad vahoim, Slovakia.  They are due to hold an open day this year to celebrate their 20th year in business.

Due to the increasing demand for high quality self-adhesive labels, MiF have invested in Edale’s FL-3 flexographic printing machine.  The FL3 is a cost effective and highly versatile printing press, utilising the latest servo technology, providing pre-register and auto register to achieve the highest print quality.   The specification chosen was a 430mm-wide, 8 colour press with UV and hot air drying with options including a rail system, a turn bar, and a delam-relam to ensure a high quality finish.

“The sales team and service have been excellent and with plans to increase production capacity we will no doubt invest in another Edale press” comments Michal Filipek MD MiF

Edale worked alongside their distributor for Croatia for the sale of the press and this was helped by multiple trials at Edale’s purpose built site in Hampshire UK.  The press was installed in December 2015 and since its installation there has been promising results.

“MiF are already producing high quality labels in Slovakia and with the introduction of the Edale FL3 this will allow them to continue with their planned growth and prove themselves as a market leader”, concludes Bernhard Grob, Edale’s Export Sales Director.
