EPac Flexible Packaging Adds 2nd Digital Press to its Chicago, Illinois Facility

Just two months after announcing the addition of a third HP Indigo 20000 digital printing press to its Madison, WI facility, ePac Flexible Packaging today announced the addition of a second press to its Chicago facility.
ePac, an industry leader in fast time-to-market, high quality, short and medium run length flexible packaging, now has eight HP Indigo 2000s in its Chicago, Madison, Boulder, and Miami manufacturing facilities.
ePac serves CPH brands of all sizes, and focuses on regionally based, small and medium size companies. ePac’s digital printing platform enable brands to order to demand, and quickly change graphics and text without incurring plate fees. Further, ePac makes it possible for brands to explore innovative uses for flexible packaging as an element of the marketing mix.
ePac is the first Northern American company to be built entirely on the latest in digital printing technology from HP, the Indigo 2000. According to ePac’s Chief Operating Officer, ” ePac Chicago opened just ninety days ago and we’ve already reached the point where we need more capacity to keep pace with growing demand.”
