Gneuss has exhibited new IV booster Jump system at the K 2016 show in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Part of the recycling systems, the new add-on IV booster Jump system allows waste to be directly reintroduced into the production process.

The optional liquid phase system is paired directly to the extrusion unit to increase molecule chain lengths.

During the event, the firm exhibited its PET thermoforming sheet line, including an MRS extruder, RSFgenius melt filtration system and Online Viscometer VIS.

The polymer passes over several slow turning elements within the Jump reactor to create a polymer film with surface that can be constantly renewed.

The design of the JUMP is said to prevent prevent ingress of oxygen, helping in minimizing the discolouration (yellowing) of the polymer.

JUMP system enables to lift the IV value of the melt to the required level for a given application.

The company has also showcased specially-developed product configurators at the event, which are designed to meet the customer´s individual requirements.

Gneuss noted that multiple orders for Rotary filtration systems and extrusion lines were agreed at the event, including the extrusion line for PET thermoforming sheet.

During the event, the firm exhibited its PET thermoforming sheet line, including an MRS extruder, RSFgenius melt filtration system and Online Viscometer VIS.

Based in Bad Oeynhausen of Germany, Gneuss provides solutions for the plastics processing industry.
