Jindal Films Europe, a global leader in the development and manufacture of specialty films for the flexible packaging and labeling markets, is further expanding its metallizing capabilities at its site in Brindisi, Italy. The new metallizer will add a further 10,000 tons of metallization capacity with start-up expected in the second half of 2017.

This new capacity comes after the successful installation and start-up of another new metallizer in the first half of 2016, which is currently running at full capacity.

“Supply reliability is key for our customers and this investment reinforces our commitment to providing them with a long-term strategy,” said Alessandro Fontanarosa, Brindisi Operations Director, Jindal Films Europe. “Aligning with the new 10.5 m extrusion line currently being installed, this additional capability will provide a superior service and quality combined with the highest level of manufacturing efficiency”.
