Kraft Singles recalled because of packaging issue

3 August 2015

The Kraft-Heinz Company is voluntarily recalling select Kraft Singles individually-wrapped slices for safety reasons, according to our newspartners at News 10NBC.

Approximately 36,000 cases of the cheese product were shipped to retailers in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The FDA says there is a possibility that part of the packaging film may remain on the slice even after the wrapper has been removed.

The FDA says that any Kraft Singles American and White American pasteurized cheese product with a "Best When Used By" date of December 29, 2015 to January 4, 2016, should not be used.
