Marchesini Group will be participating in Pack Expo this year (September 28th to 30th in Las Vegas, Nevada). Many professionals from the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical devices and nutraceutical manufacturing industries are expected to attend this year’s show. The Marchesini Group will be presenting a newest Counting Line for the American market. Compact 24 Synchro is a Monoblock able to run high production speeds combined with top counting precision. This will be showcased at the trade show with the Sirio 3 Bottle Unscrambler/Bottom Code Reader. The Sirio 3 is capable of handling round, square, oval or rectangular containers.

Compact 24 Synchro is one of the latest packaging innovations by Marchesini Group for the solid dosage packaging market. This Monoblock is designed to manage high production rates (up to 150 vials a minute), at the same time ensuring the highest possible counting precision. The combination of counting accuracy at high speeds is due to the combined use of two technological innovations by our R&D department.

The first is a so-called “Twin Flap" technology that increases the speed of the 12 channels of each counting unit by drastically reducing the dwell time of the bottle under the funnel (without increasing the number of contact parts). The second innovation is the Synchro-dynamic conveyance system that transfers the counted product into the vial in continuous motion as the vial itself is fed along the line.

The Synchro-dynamic process (the real heart of the machine) along with the “Twin Flap” technology - which splits the 12 channels of each counting unit into two, thus creating a double counter for each unit - ensure the most reliable and accurate counting technology available. The final result is the most innovative Monoblock solid dosage counting line on the market today, which guarantees complete efficiency of the production process - from the upstream phase of counting to the insertion of the cotton, right through to capping.

The Group’s attendance at Pack Expo is being organised by Marchesini's branch in the USA. Based in modern facilities located in West Caldwell, New Jersey, it is equipped and staffed to meet the ever-increasing demands of today’s sophisticated and quality-conscious packaging clients. The full range of equipment offered includes cartoners, blister and deep draw thermoformers, form/fill/seal machines, vial, ampoule filling-stoppering-closing units and sterilization/depyrogenation tunnels.

Marchesini Group will be exhibiting in Pack Expo 2015 after Cosmopack 2015 (New York, September 16-17), the biggest international trade fair dedicated to various applications, components and solutions for the production of cosmetics. Valentina Marchesini, the marketing manager of Marchesini Group will be giving a presentation regarding the growing importance of the cosmetic sector for the Group.
