UK-based PET packaging company Petainer has selected N/Pack do Brasil to distribute its petainerKeg range in Brazil.

Under the deal, N/Pack will market petainerKeg range, comprising of Classic keg and Linestar varieties that serve as an alternative to steel kegs and glass bottles.

PetainerKeg Classic and Linestar kegs, which are designed to use only once, can be fully recycled.

The petainerKeg is an advanced PET keg that will be used to deliver beer, wine and cider.

According to the company, the petainerKeg is compatible with dispensing equipment and delivers taste as per the brand owner intention.

Petainer Brazil country manager Ricardo Leonel Vieira said: “I am delighted to announce our distribution partnership with N/Pack.

“It makes petainerKeg readily available in the biggest beer producing region of the country and has been endorsed by many successful craft brewers.”

In June, Petainer has established an independently operating business in Brazil in line with its expansion plans for the Latin American region.

Through its one-way PET kegs innovation, dubbed petainerKeg, the company is targeting the fast growing craft brewing industry in Brazil as well as domestic brewing giants.

Petainer is engaged in the development, designing and manufacturing of PET food and beverage containers.

The firm has production facilities in Sweden and the Czech Republic, blowing facilities in North America, Russia, India and Australia.

It also has sales offices in Sweden, the Czech Republic, Germany, the USA, Canada and UK.
