Nilpeter has agreed to distribute TrojanLabel’s Trojan2 digital label press globally. The agreement specifically includes Nilpeter’s markets across the US, Brazil, Asia Pacific, the UK and Ireland.

TrojanLabel’s Trojan2 is a minii-digital label press, which is claimed to propel converters into the world of digital labels and it can supplement Nilpeter’s PANORAMA product-line.

The Trojan2 mini-digital label press is claimed to be an affordable press, with the characteristics of a large and more expensive systems.

The press can print at speeds up to 18m/min and up to 1600 × 1600 dots per inch (dpi). The press is supported by state-of-the-art algorithms and self-maintaining systems that enable it to run larger volumes, while maintaining high print quality.

Nilpeter sales & marketing director Jakob Landberg said: “From the get-go, it has been Nilpeter’s strategy to offer a wide range of digital solutions with our PANORAMA product-line and the products from TrojanLabel fit perfectly into this equation.

“We are very excited because we now cover a larger market with quality products which is what converters expect from Nilpeter.”

TrojanLabel managing director Mikkel Wichmann said: “We consider this collaboration to be a significant, strategic partnership which will further accelerate our leadership position of several hundred Trojan installations in this market.

“With Nilpeter as a global partner, we will be able to get closer to our customers, provide strong backup, and further enhance our successful distribution channels.”

TrojanLabel is a Danish company with headquarters in Herlev. The company also operates from Hungary and China. Its produces label and digital press-making machines.

Earlier this year, the company was acquired by AstroNova’s subsidiary ANI, for an undisclosed amount.
