Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. will establish the Packaging Communication Center in the Corporate Planning Division, and the Packaging Research Laboratory in the Research & Development Division as of April 1 this year.

The two newly established organizations will serve as bases to solve customers' packaging technology challenges and work on new value co-creation. To this end, the Packaging Communication Center will provide marketing and proposal functions in order to meet customers' requests, including the utilization of new materials as well as conventional ones.

The Packaging Research Laboratory will work on the development of packaging materials and technology based on wood biomass. The two organizations will serve as a hub and strengthen the cooperation of the Group companies, and will strive to grow in the packaging field.
