Pankaboard is proud to announce that the Swan Ecolabel has been granted for PankaMax in December 2016, after rigorous inspection of the production process and raw materials of the board.

The Nordic Swan Ecolabel is a voluntary ecolabelling scheme that evaluates a product’s impact on the environment throughout the whole life cycle.

The label guarantees among other things that climate requirements are taken into account, and that CO2 emissions (and other harmful gasses) are limited – where it is most relevant.

The Swan Ecolabel can now be used in the promotion of PankaMax to highlight the sustainability and environmentally friendly aspects of – not only PankaMax – but the whole Pankakoski Mill.
