Rondo Ganahl AG is to fully take over the German packaging specialist company Walz Verpackungen in Langenenslingen / Ittenhausen.

Walz has made a name for itself, above all with special packaging solutions for demanding applications and in the service sector.

Walz has achieved tremendous success in the heavy-goods packaging sector in particular with its MC-Box (above all by replacing wood packaging).

Walz also has a reputation with its customers for being, on the one hand a specialist for individual solutions, and on the other hand as a full-range supplier of a variety of different packaging materials, and also puts customer service at the heart of its business.

Walz employs around 100 people and has a turnover of € 22 million.

The takeover will result in a close liaison between both companies. As a result of the fusion, Rondo Ganahl AG will expand its product range and Walz Verpackungen will have access to an international customer base.

The newly founded company Walz Verpackungen GmbH, will continue to be led by the present owner Mr. Bernd Walz (CEO) and the current management team. Mr. Udo Nachbaur (chairman of Ganahl AG) will take up a new position in the management team of the company, and will, together with Bernd Walz, essentially take care of the strategic alignment of the company and the coordination of business activities.
