Rust-Oleum selects Sacmi labeling technology

Professional anti-rust and decorative spray devices producer Rust-Oleum has selected Sacmi labeling technology for use in its production lines.

Sacmi will provide its Opera 400 26T modular labeler, which is equipped with in-line quality control systems.

Opera 400 26T includes two different modules, of which one module features roll-fed technology and developed for the application of labels

The second module has been developed for the application of self-adhesive labels.

Opera 400 26T labeler, which is a hard-wearing and compact structure, has been developed for use in different manufacturing conditions.

The two labelling stations can generate up to 21,000 applications per an hour, while the labelling vision system (LVS) will handle the entire quality control phase.

The LVS unit will place the container by using six cameras, and inspect both label and nozzle by using four image acquisition devices.

Its modular configuration enables a single passage through the machine, in addition to applying the main label on the can roll-fed module) and the bar code (self-adhesive technology).

InApril, , Sacmi unveiled new range of Kube modular labelling machines at the Enolitech 2016 in Verona, Italy.

The new Kube labelling machines have been developed to meet the needs of winemakers.

Kube K30 720 9T labeling unit, which includes two self-adhesive labelling stations and one cold glue station, can turn out up to nine thousand bottles per hour.
