Sacmi will be in Dubai from 31st October to 2nd November with a dual display area. As usual, the main focus will be on the BEVERAGE world and this year sees the first joint appearance with CM-OPM, which will be showcasing its CMY55CD wrapping machine.

Over 30,000 visitors are expected to flood the more than 60,000 m2 of floor space at Gulfood Manufacturing. This international fair, dedicated to packaging and food processing solutions, will shortly be held in Dubai, capital city of the United Arab Emirates, from 31st October to 2nd November 2017.

For the Sacmi Group, the fair is a great promotion and visibility opportunity in what is one of the world's key areas for marketing the vast packaging solutions range designed and produced in our Italian plants. No less than 100 m2 of display space will be shared by Sacmi and CM-OPM, the Group's main Food Division company that develops wrapping, processing and packaging solutions for chocolate and bakery products.

At Gulfood Manufacturing, CM-OPM will be showcasing a CMY55CD, the double-twist flat-base praline chocolate wrapping machine developed by CM-FIMA, the corporate Division that designs and markets wrapping solutions. On show at the fair complete with aligner, the CMY55 CD can wrap over 500 pieces a minute.

Moving on from CM-OPM to Sacmi, the latter's display area [Za'abeel Hall 2, stand number Z2-A64] will feature an eye-catching videowall illustrating the entire product range, intended for the BEVERAGE sector and beyond.

Alongside the individual technological platforms - which continue to represent the heart of the Group's range – stands an extensive array of quality control systems and a series of new developments that, with an eye to Industry 4.0, ensure ever-greater manufacturing integration.

In other words, complete, integrated lines for the compression manufacturing of caps and preforms and the relative stretch-blowing, filling and labelling operations. The latter, all interfaced with the plant controller, allow constant digital monitoring of production and the generation of vital feedback info to boost efficiency levels throughout the plant.

Present in the area through Sacmi Middle East, the Group provides further added value in the form of after sales services. These span from spare parts assistance to direct on-machine installation of solutions that, 7 days a week, can link customers to a Sacmi technician to solve common problems and optimise production at all times.
