1 March 2017

Sacmi is set to showcase its Kube labeling solutions foe wine makers at Enolitech 2017 event in Verona, Italy.

Designed by Sacmi Verona, the Kube modular labelers can be used across multiple labeling technologies and systems, helping wine industry in improving total process quality and frequent label or size changeovers.

With the support of Kube modular labelers, different applications such as hot glue, cold glue and self-adhesive can be managed in parallel.

The labeler includes universal screw feeder with brushless motor, which helps to handle different bottle types ranging from a minimum of 60mm to a maximum of 120 mm in diameter.

Featuring advanced control software, the labeler can be installed with modern LVS 360 vision system produced by Sacmi automation and service division.

The acquisition of Defranceschi Italia allowed Sacmi to provide multiple labeling technologies for the customers.

Sacmi also provides ultra-clean fillers and solutions to handle bag-in-box packaging, in addition to a range of grape processing and wine-making solutions.

Sacmi-Defranceschi sales manager Laurent Guillemain said: “Analysis of the wine industry demonstrates that, especially in the middle of the price range, there is plenty of scope for raising both product quality and improving the way it is presented.

“We know that these goals can largely be achieved by redesigning the winery and/or building it from scratch.”

With over 80 companies in 28 countries, Sacmi Group provides manufacturing machines and complete plants for the ceramics, packaging (beverage and closures and containers), food and automation industries.
