Vonco Products expands capabilities of its LiquaLoc Flexibles division with capital investments

2 December 2016

Vonco Products, a leading producer of high-performance flexible packaging products, announced today that it is expanding the capabilities and capacity of its LiquaLoc Flexibles division with investments in equipment and facilities.

In addition to a state-of-the-art laminating system purchased and installed in the summer of 2015, Vonco Products has constructed a special-purpose room dedicated to a brand new pouch line for producing liquid-tight solutions. "It's an exciting time here at LiquaLoc," said Doug Marvin, Business Development Manager for Liquid Packaging. "We're adding new features and new capabilities to better serve our customers and deliver even greater value to the liquid-tight packaging marketplace."

The high-speed automated pouch line is designed to manufacture high-performance liquid-tight packaging used in a variety of demanding end-use applications, from industrial and household chemicals to health and beauty products. Leveraging the legacy competencies and technologies Vonco has developed over the past 60 years, the new pouch line will enable LiquaLoc Flexibles to provide customized solutions with the same levels of quality and performance in a much more efficient and effective manner.

The specially built room that houses the new line is completely enclosed, with its own positive-airflow climate controls, making it ideally suited for producing liquid-tight solutions for use with food and beverages or for medical applications.

Together, the new equipment and facility enhancements promise to boost LiquaLoc's already impressive ability to deliver custom liquid-tight solutions at competitive prices with faster quotes, shorter run requirements and lower tooling costs.

Looking further down the road, Vonco recently broke ground on a brand new facility in Salem, Wisconsin. The announcement was made at a celebration event held on October 27, 2016, attended by Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch. The new, state-of-the-art 80,000-square-foot facility will be custom-designed to accommodate the expanding manufacturing and operational needs of Vonco Products and LiquaLoc Flexibles, with full occupancy expected by the end of 2017.
