The term "Fast Moving Consumer Goods" (FMCG) refers to goods for everyday life, which are generally bought without much thought as they are frequently used products and inexpensive. In trade, we also call them "fast movers" or "runners". These include hygiene and care products, food items, cleaning products and pet products, but also limited seasonal items such as charcoal, garden products or heavily reduced luxury goods.
