Avery Products, a manufacturer of printable labels and cards, has introduced new AveryPRO collection of pressure-sensitive label stock for HP Indigo presses.
With the new expanded AveryPRO line of pre die-cut and full-sheet label stock, the firm is offering professional printers and graphic designers with new unique pressure-sensitive substrates such as Soft Touch and Silver Matte to eliminate the need for post-production finishes.
Customers can also purchase specialized inks while reducing costs, increasing profitability and speeding up the printing process.
Avery Products group product manager Liz Sanchez said: "Avery Products is excited to expand its AveryPRO digital press range with our new collection for HP Indigo digital printers.
"The new line complements our existing collection of quality substrates, with the addition of some exciting new materials like Soft Touch and Silver Matte."
The first of its kind in the pressure-sensitive label market, the Soft Touch substrate of the AveryPRO offers is ideal for adding an elegant touch to any item needing a high-quality look and feel like soaps, candies and cosmetics.
Additionally, the Silver Matte material provides a metalized look and features a permanent adhesive and is water and tear resistant, making it ideal for electronic asset tagging and beverage labeling, Avery said.
AveryPRO is also adding Semi-Gloss and Clear label stock featuring permanent and removable adhesives, a durable PET full-sheet stock, and polypropylene Name Badges.
Available in a variety of full-sheet and pre die-cut shapes and sizes in 12" x 18" sheets, the new products are ideal for short-run, print-on-demand applications and are certified for HP Indigo digital presses.
In 2015, Avery launched the AveryPRO line of professional print solutions for digital presses.
Earlier, Avery Products senior marketing director Lilian Bories said: "This new offering will help printers drive sales, increase market share and grow customer loyalty."
