TRESU sells Flexo Innovator hybrid printing line to WestRock

TRESU Group sells an eight-color hybrid Flexo Innovator to WestRock, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The press, accommodating water-based ink, UV OPV coating media and inline finishing capabilities, will be installed at the WestRock facility in Eutaw, Alabama, by the end of 2016.
“This is an exciting sale, not least because it validates TRESU’s vision of flexo packaging production with inline finishing,” said Scott Hibbs, president, TRESU Americas.
The Flexo Innovator’s inline configuration can print and finish paper, carton board, laminates, metallic substrates and unsupported films. The press has features for leaner and faster production, accurate web tension control and precise registration.
