Afinia Label Announces EMEA/North America Distribution Agreement With NeuraLabel Printing Solutions

6 May 2016

Narrow web label printing system leader Afinia Label announced today that they have been named a NeuraLabel Printing Solutions Distribution Agent for EMEA, and a Distributor for North America.

“We are very pleased to add NeuraLabel printers and accessories to our product line,” said Scott Coates, Afinia Label UK’s Business Development Manager. “Their 300x On Demand Label Printer is the first pigment-ink product we’ve carried, and it completes our suite of solutions. With continuing high sales activity, this addition will help to continue the solid growth of Afinia Label.”

Mike Atkins, Afinia Label’s National Sales Manager, remarked, “We’ve been impressed with how the 300x has been accepted by the narrow-web label market and are looking forward to increasing NeuraLabel’s market presence in North America.”

The 300x prints labels in high resolution (2400 x 1200 dpi) at up to 100ft/min (30m/min). Based on HP® PageWide technology (which delivers up to twice the speed at up to half the printing cost compared with color laser printers), and using water-resistant pigment inks, the 300x quickly prints labels that are also resistant to abrasion, seawater immersion, and UV exposure. Its variable print width makes it ideal for producing labels of all sizes. It also can be used with an optional unwinder/rewinder.

Afinia Label offers two additional color label printers. The Afinia Label L801 Color Label Printer is dye-based, and its page-wide array technology gives it a print speed of 60 ft/sec (18m/min) and an industry-leading ink cost of less than 3 cents for a 4” x 6”(100mm x 150mm) label with 75% coverage. This is a fraction of the cost of other inkjet label printers. The Afinia Label R635 Color Label Printer is a dry toner-based system that can also print white, and carries BS5609 Section 1, 2 and 3 certifications, making it the ideal solution for full-color, GHS-compliant chemical labels.

Afinia Label emerged as a digital label printing system leader in 2012 when they collaborated with printer manufacturers to co-develop a commercially viable narrow-web label printing solution. Afinia Label is now one of the largest distributors of this technology in the world.
