This fresh collection of packaging, entirely composed of fiber-based materials and certified for recyclability, has been meticulously crafted to replace conventional fossil-based plastics and films in frozen food packaging.

Neil Bretl, President of The Paper People, noted, "This novel packaging solution has been intelligently designed to seamlessly integrate with existing packaging machinery, encompassing vertical form-fill-seal, stand-up pouches, SOS style systems, and even flow wrap and bundle wrap applications. Furthermore, the paper-based frozen food package comes equipped with the innovative Paperlock™ G technology from The Paper People LLC. This FDA-approved direct food contact heat-seal material and grease barrier effectively prevents the migration of grease from items like fries, tater tots, onion rings, and pizza rolls onto the exterior of the package. The packaging also supports intricate printing with up to 10 colors, utilizing both flexographic and digital printing methods. It boasts the inclusion of a compostable zipper, available in standard and inno-lok style configurations.

The synergy of The Paper People LLC's technological prowess and Ahlstrom's proprietary FluoroFree® barrier papers results in notable grease-resistance and permits a genuine substitute for conventional non-renewable packaging.
