Mondi to exhibit paper-based bag solutions at RosUpack 2017

Mondi Industrial Bags is set to showcase paper-based bag solutions at the RosUpack 2017 event in Russia.

The event will take place from 20 to 23 June in Moscow.

The company will exhibit various paper-based bag solutions, which can be used in food, feed and seed applications. Mondi’s bag solutions will protect sensitive powdery filling goods and extend product shelf life.

At the event, the firm will exhibit Hot Lock Bag designed for the food industry and Splashbag developed to protect moisture-sensitive building and construction material from rain.

PE-inliner bags with Hot Lock Bag sealing will meet the specific needs of the food industry. It combines functional features for easy closure, better storage and convenient opening.

Designed to be sealed separately after filling, the PE-Inliner bag serves as a moisture barrier for hygienic and safe packaging of products.

Splashbag is a water-resistant paper bag, which fulfills the needs of customers in the building and construction industry.

Developed in partnership with cement producer LafargeHolcim, Splashbag can be used to protect moisture-sensitive filling goods.

The bag, which is made by using Mondi’s wet-strengthened, machine-finished Advantage Protect sack kraft paper, is formulated to maintain high tensile strength even in wet environments.

In addition, the can still be moved, handled and emptied without difficulty, even after two hours of direct exposure to rain.

Mondi Industrial Bags produces a range of bag specifications for the industries such as cement and building materials, chemicals, food, feed and seed.
