DESCRIPTION

Corrugated cardboard rolls are typically manufactured using kraft container board or other pulp-based paper boards.

There is a fluted sheet sandwiched between two flat sheets that are combined using an adhesive. The corrugated sheets were first patented in England in 1856 as the inner lining of top hats. It was only officially patented as a packaging material in 1871 in New York.The strength and properties of our corrugated cardboards are extensively measured and tested to ensure that they are able to serve their protective purposes to the best of abilities. The test the boards go through include crush tests, bending resistance, impact resistance, shock absorption, tear, and burst strength.Corrugated cardboards have a variety of uses. One of the most common of which is protection of furniture during transport. They are perfect as a covering for mirrors and wood which are both easily damaged. Once put through a secondary manufacturing process, these boards can be made into cardboard boxes. The most commonly used box style is the Regular Slotted Container. The boxes are usually manufactured according to the specification of the items that need to go in it (according to the clients’ requirements).At Packit, our corrugated cardboard rolls are SFK (Single Face Kraft). This means that it only has one layer of flat sheet and one fluted sheets.
