Columbus food packaging manufacturer Genpak LLC plans to invest $12.8 Million for expansion.

Features:

Genpak plans to add a $6 million, 200,000-square-foot warehouse to its complex at 845 Kaderly Drive on the city’s west side. It also plans to purchase $3 million in new machinery and equipment and $3 million in inventory with the remainder for improvements to the existing building and new furniture and fixtures.

This expansion creates 14 new full-time jobs. The expansion work is scheduled to start in January and run through December 2016.

The company makes an assortment of products, including deli containers, plastic cups, bakery and food trays and serving bowls as well as packaging materials for customers in the retail, food processing, food service industries.
