Pat McCrory, governor of North Carolina announced about the major expansion of Wright Foods. He said, “One of my top priorities is helping existing businesses grow and expand their operations in North Carolina. “It is always encouraging when homegrown companies choose to reinvest in our state.” Wright Foods has more than 80 employees at present and with this expansion it will create about 505 jobs in Montgomery County. Salaries will vary by job function, but the average annual wage for the new jobs will be $29,678 plus benefits. “Companies similar to Wright Foods choose North Carolina because it provides them with the basic amenities they need to succeed,” said Sharon Decker, N.C.
