ETAP provides worldclass dunnage bag solutions

Etap Packaging International GmbH was founded in 2015 with the goal to produce high quality dunnage bags for industrial packaging and damage prevention and thus make the worldwide shipping of goods a little safer every day. The founders have over 20 years of experience in the dunnage bag industry and an excellent economic as well as strategic understanding.

The main headquarters is located in Hamburg, Germany within direct reach of the Port of Hamburg. Started with the first production in Eastern Europe and the launch of two more productions in Europe, Etap GmbH has grown rapidly over the past years.

This fast and healthy growth is based on several success factors. On the one hand, we produce dunnage bags in best quality by more than 150 employees. In addition, an honest and respectful interaction both internally and with our cooperation partners is essential for us and the basis for a long-lasting and successful business relationship.

In the meantime we export our dunnage bags worldwide and are proud to expand our network with our strong partners.

CONTAINER

The accelerations acting on a ship in a seaway result from a combination of longitudinal, vertical and predominantly transverse movements. Our Dunnage Bags prevents these movements and secures your cargo.

ROAD

Goods transported in trucks are subject to significant front-to-back forces due to acceleration and braking, and less severe side-to-side forces due to cornering. The greatest possible stress usually occurs during braking decelerations. Etap Dunnage Bags prevent that these movements get devolved. They reliably secure the cargo.

VESSEL

Vessel shipments refer to the loading of goods into the hull of an ocean-going vessel. In ship transports, the loaded goods are subjected to extreme forces in all directions. Etap Dunnage Bags guarantee a safe transport.

RAILROAD

When trains are used for transport, shunting impacts when trains are being assembled, can sometimes result in heavy forces. Depending on the type of wagon, the resulting forces can be up to 4 times the weight of the wagon.
