Ranpak Expands Wrapping Solutions with the Introduction of Geami MV? Converter
Ranpak Holdings Corp., a global leader in environmentally sustainable, paper-based packaging solutions for e-commerce and industrial supply chains, has introduced the Geami MV™ wrapping system. This compact, powered converter is designed to enhance both productivity and simplicity.
“The continued rise in e-commerce means shippers are looking to optimize, setting up their warehouses with many pack stations that are configured for spatial efficiency and productivity. Our customers are seeking solutions that help them conserve space but maximize throughput across the warehouse,” said Omar Asali, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Ranpak. “The Geami MV solution provides our customers with new technology that marries the efficiency of a powered converter solution with the smaller size profile that is becoming more important in environments where space is at a premium.”
The Geami MV™ is the latest addition to Ranpak’s Geami® portfolio, further expanding its wrapping solutions. It integrates key features from previous models such as the Geami MS Mini™ and Geami Wrap 'n Go™ systems, improving productivity while maintaining a consistent wrapping experience and saving space.
Equipped with a user-friendly interface, the Geami MV™ offers simple controls for paper loading, speed adjustment, and a choice between preset or foot pedal modes. The preset mode allows users to dispense a set amount of paper, optimizing material usage when shipping similar products. The system supports light paper rolls and can utilize both Geami® paper and interleaf paper for additional surface protection when needed.
Serving a wide range of industries, from electronics and mechanical parts to cosmetics, medical supplies, and home goods, the Geami MV™ offers an eco-friendly alternative to plastic packaging. With rising regulations on plastic use, Ranpak’s paper-based solutions provide businesses with a sustainable, efficient way to meet packaging demands while aligning with environmental goals.
