Huhtamaki appoints Axel Glade as President of Flexible Packaging Business Segment

Axel Glade ,has been appointed President of Huhtamaki's Flexible Packaging business segment and a member of the Group Executive Team. He will start his position no later than January 1, 2026. He will report to President and CEO Charles Héaulmé and will be based in Espoo.
Axel joins Huhtamaki from Constantia Flexibles, a flexible packaging company headquartered in Vienna, Austria, where he served as Head of the Film Division and a member of the Executive Board. He has held several management positions at Constantia since 2011, including SVP Consumer and CEO at Constantia Pirkki. Prior to Constantia, Axel held several management positions at other packaging companies, including Sealed Air and Bischof + Klein.

As previously announced, Hans-Peter Edelbluth (63), Vice President MEA, Flexibles Packaging, will serve as interim head of the Flexibles Packaging business segment from February 1, 2025 until Axel takes up his position.
