Edale, a Canon company and leading manufacturer of flexographic printing and converting solutions, will be participating in the upcoming Sustainability & Innovation Seminar in Bangkok, Thailand organised by C. Illies (Thailand).

The event on August 29th is focused on the future of folding carton production and brings together global suppliers, brand owners, and decision-makers to share insights and explore packaging solutions for the future.

Under the theme “Smart, Sustainable, Short-Run: The Future of Folding Carton Production”, the event will spotlight global packaging innovation. Renowned sustainability consultant, Steve Lister will open with a keynote on emerging trends and evolving brand demands, followed by the panel “What Brands Want: Smart & Sustainable Expectations from Packaging Partners” featuring leading FMCG voices.

Ryan Barrett, Head of Sales for APAC at Edale, will be delivering a presentation on the Edale view of the topic entitled ‘Inline by Design: Transforming Short-Run Carton Production with the Edale CartonLine’.

He will offer attendees an expert perspective on the opportunities and innovations shaping the future of carton production, particularly through the lens of flexographic technology and single-pass workflows.

Ryan said: “This seminar comes at a pivotal time for the Asia-Pacific region, where demand for faster, more sustainable carton production is accelerating. Flexo has a major role to play in helping converters respond, delivering short-run agility, premium finishes, and reduced environmental impact in a single, efficient process.

“Events like this are crucial for sharing ideas, building partnerships, and raising awareness of what flexo technology can now achieve. As Edale continues to grow across Asia-Pacific, we’re proud to be part of that conversation and excited to showcase how our CartonLine systems are helping converters meet new expectations and unlock new opportunities.”

As part of the event, Edale will also be featured in the Supplier Showcase Zone, providing a dedicated space for attendees to explore the company’s latest press technologies and innovations in folding carton production.
