Pro Tapes® Announces Delivery Of High Speed Converting Equipment

NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J., July 15, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Pro Tapes & Specialties (of North Brunswick, NJ) is excited to announce that it has taken delivery of a brand new, state-of-the-art, fully integrated slitting & packaging system. Its new FA 300 is a fully automatic slitting system compatible with 3" & 1.5" ID cores, and is integrated with an automatic shrink wrapping & labeling system that will allow for high speed converting, packaging and labeling of a wide variety of pressure sensitive adhesive tapes.

In addition to two (2) FA 300's, Pro Tapes® also has a Flex RT-800, a RS-240, a TG-300 and a BA-1000 wide-web 1" ID core slitter.

Additional capabilities include 3 Cameron wide-web slitters, a Conweb wide-web slitter, two (2) fully automatic single knife slitters, numerous narrow web precision rewind slitters, and a full concept & design, die-cutting, perforating, printing & laminating stand-alone converting center.

Pro Tapes® Pro Gaff® being produced on our new Ghezzi & Annoni FA 300 machine. This Pro Gaff® black video displays converting from jumbo rolls, shrink wrapping and roll labeling in-line. Slitting directly from master or jumbo rolls using a wide web slitter is the most cost effective slitting method. Pro Tapes® has eleven wide web slitting units of which six are fully automated. Some advantages of wide web slitting are yield per spin (higher output), less waste/scrap, and the best quality.
