Propak East Africa confirms its Conference Timetable ahead of it’s fifth edition this month at the KICC in Nairobi

With just weeks to go until Propak East Africa 2020, organisers behind the continent’s largest packaging, printing, processing and labelling exhibition brand have revealed their planned content for the Conference in collaboration with the Institute of Packaging Professionals Kenya (IOPPK).
Taking place from 17 – 19 of March 2020 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Kenya, Propak East Africa is expected to welcome more than 4,500 industry members alongside its confirmed 200 exhibiting brands this month. In addition to the products, services and live equipment on display, once more Propak East Africa will be running its ever-popular daily Conference alongside the event.
With 28 different sessions across the three days, attendees can expect to find a variety of topics covered including ‘Consumer Concerns on Food Safety, Packaging & Plastics’, ‘Drivers to Sustainable Packaging in Kenya’, ‘EPR and Setting Packaging Targets for a Circular Economy in Kenya’to name a few.
Among the Keynote Speakers revealed are Dr. Francis Owino, PS Department of Industrialization in Kenya, Ms Kawira Bucyana -Industrial Officer Eastern Africa UNIDO, Prof. Helen NjeriNjenga, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry, University of Nairobi and Ms Phyllis Wakiaga, CEO of the Kenya Manufacturers Association (KAM).
Further to the existing schedule, official endorsers for Propak East Africa, the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) will be hosting a specially curated Conference on the third day.
