Interchangeable Steel Types Marking Punches

Generally, these punches are in 90MnCrV8 steel and are tempered at (56-60 HRC) with a tolerance of 0.015. The OT58 EN 12164 brass punches are usually used for hot stamping. The validity date or the batch number on the carton, blister, cases or tubes are printed using the mobile characters which are parts in steel or brass. An important point to remember is one must never confuse a used punch with a flat punch, but should always use a new punch instead.
