Die Cutting

Once a carton is printed it moves on to the die cutting department. Unlike many other carton manufacturers, MOD-PAC produces all die cutting materials and their components in-house ensuring the fastest response times possible. Die boards are burned on a laser cutter from the same quality approved CAD file that was generated by our Pre-Press team. Cutting rules, rubber cushioning, counter plates and other essential materials are custom cut and assembled for each and every job.

MOD-PAC currently operates state-of-the-art computerized die-cutting machines with internal stripping capabilities. These machines all run on a standard size format, allowing the flexibility to move work quickly through the department. We do our best to maximize raw materials and recycle all waste possible to help minimize our impact on the environment. Our die-cutting staff takes great pride in its work and performs on-going quality checks on all jobs for accuracy. Maintaining structural integrity and quality is their prime focus.
