Perfectly suited to higher volume sleeving applications the Wraparound Sleever machine delivers packaging cost savings combined with high speed operation. The machine is simple, robust and hygienic in design and can operate with single and multipack sleeves and incorporates an automatic infeed transfer system as standard. With installations worldwide the machine is used to pack ready meals, chilled foods, dairy products, dips, pate, meat free products, desserts, yoghurts, soups and snacks.
Overview
Operation
The machine sleeve hopper is loaded with flat unglued sleeves. The products are delivered to the machine directly from the upstream equipment such as a thermoformer, filler or tray sealer. The products are automatically loaded into the infeed pockets of the machine by the integral infeed transfer unit. A flat sleeve is then automatically selected and folded around the product and glued together in place before being ejected from the machine.
The Wraparound Sleever will run at speeds up to 150 packs per minute depending on the type and size of the products.
