The Header Card Applicator machine is simple and easy to operate and provides efficient application of header cards to flow wraps, stand up pouches, bags and sachets. The machine adheres the card to the products with either permanent or peelable adhesive to deliver a premium look and feel to the product with significant packaging cost savings compared to printed films. Perfect for soups, sauces, spices, meat kits, snacks, sweets and wide range of non food items such as air fresheners, screws, fixings etc.

Operation
The machine carton hopper is loaded with flat header cards.  The products are delivered to the load station on the integral conveyor directly from the upstream equipment such as a bagger, flow wrapper or pouch filler. As the products are delivered to the load station, the machine automatically, on demand, selects and presents the header card within a pocket to assist the operator to accurately and quickly place the product. The machine then applies glue and folds and sticks the card in place before ejecting the finished pack from the end of the machine.

The Header Card Applicator machine can be operated by one person at up to 60 packs per minute if the product is regular and easy to handle. Most machines installed run comfortably at 50-60 packs per minute with one operator.
