Green Bay Packaging (GBP) has announced plans to invest more than $1 billion in a major expansion of its manufacturing facility in Morrilton, Arkansas. The long-term project is designed to modernize mill infrastructure, enhance operational efficiency, support sustainability objectives, and secure the facility’s future growth. The expansion will strengthen the plant’s position as a key production hub while creating new employment opportunities in Conway County.

Introduction:

Green Bay Packaging, a prominent producer of innovative packaging solutions, is set to expand its manufacturing plant in Morrilton, Arkansas, with an investment exceeding $1 billion.

Features:

This long-term development will improve the mill’s infrastructure and support the company’s focus on sustainability and operational efficiency. As part of the plan, around 300 acres of land will be acquired to support future growth and development, securing the mill’s strategic position.

The initiative reinforces GBP’s ongoing focus on quality, sustainability, and its continued support for employees, customers, and local communities.

The expansion is expected to generate 35 new jobs, adding to the more than 620 people already employed by Green Bay Packaging in Conway County.
