Since 2000, Yamaton Paper has been pursuing the goal of producing sustainable packaging from the combination of paper and the structure of honeycomb cells and thus environmentally friendly packaging and transport solutions for a wide range of industries. The basis here is always the unique, load-bearing, hexagonal cell structure made of paper, taken from the natural structure of the honeycomb. No other comparable material allows such a high strength in relation to the weight.
The customer portfolio is diverse: the automotive and packaging industry, transport and logistics, the furniture industry and the construction industry from Germany and Europe are among the regular customer base. Since it was founded in 2000, Yamaton Paper has not only supplied large parts of the European Union, but also Switzerland, Norway, Tunisia and Turkey.
Our product portfolio includes versatile protective packaging and pallets made from paper honeycomb panels that are 100% recyclable and will successfully replace packaging solutions made of wood, plastic or foam.

After sustained growth in recent years, Yamaton Paper GmbH invested in a new and modern production site and moved the entire production facility within Rostock at the end of 2018. Now more than 50 employees work here on an area of 7500m² to tailor quality products according to customer requirements. In addition to its own quality criteria such as ISO 9001:2015 or the FSC ® (FSC ® C141400) certification, the company relies on good and cooperative partnerships with logistics partners, service providers and institutes such as the Fraunhofer Institute.
The low complaint rate of less than 5 percent speaks for itself: Yamaton products are delivered in the agreed quality. And precisely because the products are not standards but are custom-made, it is important to be able to rely on good service.
Consumers across Europe believe that cardboard is the most environmentally friendly way of packaging when it comes to sustainable packaging.
Due to our many years of experience, customers appreciate us as a competent partner when it comes to the development of new packaging or the implementation of their ideas.
After almost twenty years of expertise in honeycomb technology, we still see new uses for paper honeycomb panels, be it in packaging or as a core material. For ecological reasons, the panels are increasingly being used as a substitute for wood-based materials, for example for pallet covers or as a replacement for EPS or foam padding.
A resource-saving, green packaging policy is becoming more and more important for companies and consumers. The generation of the future reminds us of our tasks today: think & act green.
