Regular and Processor grade Dyne-a-pak trays are made from a very light material: polystyrene foam.

This material takes up very little natural resources because it is composed of more than 90% air.

Polystyrene collection and recycling programs are in place in different regions. Ask your municipality if programs exist in your area.

Dyne-a-pak products meet the requirements of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Health Canada for direct contact with food.

Dyne-a-pak trays are designed for food packaging of meat, fish, poultry and other fresh produce. These packages are made of polystyrene foam - a material composed of more than 90% air and less than 10% polymer, which allows them to have a lower environmental impact compared to other packaging alternatives. These trays are recyclable in areas where polystyrene collection programs are in place. Ask your municipality if programs exist in your area.
