A transparent film made from pulp.
Cellophane is composed of cellulose (the main component of the cell wall of plants), has a small calorific value due to combustion, and has no secondary pollution caused by combustion gas.
It is rapidly decomposed in soil and compost to water and carbon dioxide.
Main uses
In addition to cellophane tape, it is also used in medicines such as medicine bags, and in food applications it is often used in packaging bags such as candies and chocolates.
