Most countries have specific requirements for packaging materials allowed to be imported into the country. Genesee Packaging has been providing export expertise and country-specific packaging services for many years.

We inspect, pack and label your containers, and partner with a network of freight-forwarding firms that coordinate loading your containers into larger air or sea containers. Your container is traceable from Genesee Packaging to port, and from port of exit to port of entry.

Import Processing

QC ConcernsGenesee Packaging offers customers importing goods or raw materials into the U.S. a unique opportunity to defer the payment of duty by using our Foreign Trade Zone status. Duties are not required to be paid until the final product/package leaves the zone.

Genesee has access to partner with a Sub-zone of General Purpose Foreign Trade Zone #140 in Flint, Michigan. A Foreign Trade Zone, or FTZ for short, can be advantageous for many companies involved in the import and export of goods.
